CIRCULAR
INTRODUCING
LISTS OF INFECTIOUS DISEASES, SCOPE AND RECIPIENTS OF COMPULSORY VACCINES AND BIOLOGICALS
Pursuant to the Law on Prevention and Control of
Infectious Diseases No. 03/2007/QH12 dated November 21, 2007;
Pursuant to the Government's Decree No.
75/2017/ND-CP dated June 20, 2017, defining the functions, tasks, powers and
organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;
Upon the request of the Director of the General
Department of Preventive Medicine;
The Minister of Health hereby promulgates the
Circular that introduces the lists of infectious diseases, scope and recipients
of compulsory vaccines and biologicals.

3. Campaign-based or complementary vaccination must
follow instructions of the Ministry of Health in specific cases.
4. The list referred to in clause 1 of this Article
shall be revised by the Ministry of Health where necessary.

persons at risk of catching infectious diseases in or from outbreak regions.

Rabies vaccines and anti-rabies serums
2. The scope and recipients of compulsory vaccines in
the list given in clause 1 of this Article shall be determined under the
decision of the Department of Health or under the instruction of the Ministry
of Health, based on epidemic situations, conditions for supply of vaccines and
available resources of each locality.
3. The list referred to in clause 1 of this Article
shall be revised by the Ministry of Health where necessary.
Article 3. Entry into force
1. This Circular shall enter into force from
January 1, 2018.
2. The Circular No. 26/2011/TT-BYT dated June 24,
2011 of the Minister of Health, introducing the lists of infectious diseases,
scope and recipients of compulsory vaccines and biologicals, shall be repealed
from the date of entry into force of this Circular.
In the course of implementation of this Circular,
if there is any difficulty arising, the Ministry of Health (General Department
of Preventive Medicine) should be promptly informed to consider taking possible
actions./.
