VỀ VIỆC ĐIỀU ƯỚC QUỐC TẾ CÓ HIỆU LỰC

Thực hiện quy định tại Khoản 3, Điều 47 của Luật Ký kết, gia nhập và thực hiện điều ước quốc tế năm 2005, Bộ Ngoại giao trân trọng thông báo:

Văn kiện gia hạn Hiệp định giữa Chính phủ các Quốc gia thành viên ASEAN và Chính phủ Đại hàn Dân quốc về Hợp tác Lâm nghiệp - Instrument of Extension of the Agreement between the Governments of the Member States of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and the Republic of Korea on Forest Cooperation ký tại Gia-các-ta ngày 04 tháng 8 năm 2014, có hiệu lực đối với Việt Nam từ ngày 05 tháng 8 năm 2016.

Bộ Ngoại giao trân trọng gửi bản sao điều ước quốc tế theo quy định tại Điều 68 của Luật nêu trên./.

INSTRUMENT OF EXTENSION

OF

THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENTS OF THE MEMBER STATES OF THE ASSOCIATION OF SOUTHEAST ASIAN NATIONS AND THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA ON FOREST COOPERATION

WHEREAS the Agreement between the Governments of the Member States of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and the Republic of Korea on Forest Cooperation (“the Agreement”) was signed on 18 November 2011 in Bali, Indonesia;

WHEREAS the Agreement entered into force on 5 August 2012, and shall remain in force, pursuant to Article XI (4) of the Agreement, until 4 August 2014;

WHEREAS Article XI (4) read with Article VII (4) of the Agreement provides that an extension of the Agreement may be agreed upon by the Governments of the Member States of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and the Republic of Korea (hereinafter referred to collectively as “the Parties”);

WHEREAS the Governing Council established under the Agreement at its 3rd Session held on 18 October 2013 in Singapore agreed to extend the validity of the Agreement for a period of two (2) years;

NOW, therefore, the Parties hereby express their consent to extend the Agreement until 4 August 2016, unless terminated in advance in accordance with Article XIV of the Agreement;

FOLLOWING its signature by all Parties, this Instrument shall enter into force on 5 August 2014.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the undersigned, being duly authorized by the Parties, have signed this Instrument.

DONE at the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta, Indonesia, this Fourth day of August in the Year Two Thousand and Fourteen, in two original copies, in the English language.
