DECISION
APPROVING THE
LIST OF ECONOMIC GROUPS AND STATE CORPORATIONS TO BE EQUITIZED IN THE 2007-2010
PERIOD
THE PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the December 25, 2001 Law on
Organization of the Government;
Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 187/2004/ND-CP of November 16, 2004, on
transformation of state companies into joint-stock companies;
Pursuant to the Prime Minister's Decision No. 263/2006/QD-TTg of November 15,
2006, promulgating the Government's program of action for stepping up the
reorganization, renewal, development, and raising the efficiency, of state
enterprises in the 2006-2010 period;
At the proposal of the Steering Committee for Enterprise Renewal and
Development and of the Ministries of Industry; Construction; Transport;
Fisheries; Agriculture and Rural Development; and Health, the People's
Committees of Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi cities, and the Management Boards of
economic groups and Corporations 91,
DECIDES:
Article 1.- To approve the list of
economic groups and state corporations to be equitized in the 2007-2010 period
as stated in the enclosed Appendix.
Article 2.-
1. To assign the ministries and the People's
Committees of the cities to direct their economic groups and state corporations
mentioned in Article 1 of this Decision in elaborating equitization plans and
submit them to the Prime Minister for approval according to current
regulations.

a/ To assume the prime responsibility for, and
coordinate with the Ministry of Finance, concerned ministries and branches, and
the People's Committees of the cities in, reaching agreement on the
equitization schedule and directing, guiding and urging the equitization of
each corporation, ensuring the set schedule; and quarterly report on the
implementation results to the Prime Minister.
b/ To set up a working team composed of
departmental-level officials and specialists of the Government Office, the
Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of
Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Home Affairs, and the State
Bank of Vietnam to assist the Steering Committee for Enterprise Renewal and
Development in performing the above tasks.
Article 3.- The ministers
and municipal People's Committee presidents being representatives of owners of
the to be-equitized corporations, the Steering Committee for Enterprise Renewal
and Development, and the Management Boards of the to be-equitized economic
groups and state corporations shall implement this Decision.
