RESOLUTION

APPROVING THE REQUEST FOR DEVELOPMENT OF DECREE ON REGULATORY SANDBOX OF FINANCIAL TECHNOLOGY (FINTECH) OPERATION IN BANKING SECTOR

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to Law on Governmental Organization dated June 19, 2015; Law on amendments to Law on Government Organization and Law on Local Governmental Organization dated November 22, 2019;

Pursuant to the Law on Promulgation of Legislative Documents dated June 22, 2015;

Pursuant to Decree No. 138/2016/ND-CP dated October 01, 2016 of Government on Operational Regulations of the Government;

At request of the State Bank of Vietnam under Document No. 5367/NHNN-TT dated July 26, 2021 and Document No. 62/TTr-NHNN dated August 3, 2021;

On the basis of voting results of members of the Government,

Article 1. Approve the request for development of a Decree of the Government regarding regulatory sandbox of financial technology (Fintech) operations in banking sector.

Assign the State Bank of Vietnam to take charge and cooperate with ministries and relevant authorities in acknowledging remarks of members of the Government during the development of the Decree while adhering to the Law on Promulgation of Legislative Document (and amendments thereof in 2020) and relevant documents, and presenting to the Government in the 4^th Quarter of 2021.

Article 2. This Resolution comes into effect from the date of signing.

Article 3. Governor of State Bank of Vietnam, ministers, ministerial agencies, heads of Governmental agencies, and relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals are responsible for the implementation of this Resolution./.
