- This Regulation provides for regarding technical requirements of radio access of terrestrial mobile communications terminals, including:
+ Mobile phones;
+ Terrestrial mobile communication terminals other than mobile phones.
- Mobile phones must be equipped with the E-UTRA technology and operate on all or one of the frequency bands referred to in Table 1 through Table 5 of Section 1.1 of the Regulation, and must conform to technical regulations laid down in Article 2 of the Regulation.
- This Regulation is not providing for technical requirements of the radio access using NB-IoT, LTE-M or 5G technologies.
