In Vietnam, areas where agricultural insurance premiums are supported

Pursuant to Clause 1, Article 6 of Decision 13/2022/QD-TTg, effective from June 24, 2022, the following areas are supported for agricultural insurance premiums for crops:

a) For rice, in the provinces: Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Binh Thuan, An Giang, Dong Thap.

b) For rubber trees, in the following provinces: Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Binh Thuan, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh, Binh Duong and Dong Nai.

c) For coffee, in the provinces: Son La, Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Lam Dong, Binh Phuoc.

d) For pepper, in the provinces: Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau.

dd) For cashew trees, in the following provinces: Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Binh Thuan, Binh Phuoc, and Dong Nai.

In Vietnam, the area is supported with agricultural insurance premiums for livestock

According to Clause 2 of this Article, areas eligible for agricultural insurance premium support for livestock are as follows:

a) For buffaloes and cows, in the provinces and centrally-run cities: Ha Giang, Vinh Phuc, Hanoi, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Binh Dinh, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Dong Nai, Binh Positive.

b) For pigs, in the provinces and centrally-run cities: Bac Giang, Hanoi, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Binh Dinh, Dak Lak, Dong Nai.

In Clause 3 of this Article, areas eligible for agricultural insurance premium support for aquatic products are as follows:

3. For black tiger shrimp, white leg shrimp, and pangasius, in the provinces: Ben Tre, Tra Vinh, Soc Trang, Bac Lieu, Ca Mau.

The People's Committees of the provinces and centrally-run cities in the areas specified in Clauses 1, 2 and 3 of this Article shall organize the selection of areas eligible for agricultural insurance premium support under the provisions of Clause 2 of this Article. 21 Decree No. 58/2018/ND-CP dated April 18, 2018 of the Government on agricultural insurance.
