The written authorization is an agreement between the concerned parties. However, the contents of the written authorization should include some basic contents as follows:

- Name and address of authorizing traders.

- Scope of authorization (import, distribution of goods in Vietnam).

- Names of goods, the trademark to be authorized.

...

The language of the written authorization is Vietnamese, English, or bilingual one in Vietnamese and English. Authorizing traders must be the manufacturers, the firms owning lawfully the trademarks or foreign traders having the right to distribute such goods in Vietnam in the case the manufacturers, firms owning lawfully such trademark do not directly authorize.
