On December 30, 2022, the Government has promulgated the Decree No.
113/2022/ND-CP promulgating Vietnam’s special preferential import tariff schedule for implementation of the Free Trade Agreement between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, of the one part, and the Eurasian Economic Union and its member states, of the other part, (hereinafter referred to as “VN-EAEU FTA Agreement”) in 2022 – 2027 period.
Accordingly, imports shall be eligible for the special preferential import tariff rates under VN-EAEU FTA Agreement if:
- They are included in the special preferential import tariff schedule enclosed with the Decree No. 113/2022/ND-CP.
- They are imported from member states of the VN-EAEU FTA Agreement, including:
+ Republic of Armenia;
+ Republic of Belarus;
+ Republic of Kazakhstan;
+ Kyrgyz Republic;
+ Russian Federation.
- They meet origin criteria (including provisions on direct consignment) and are supported by proofs of origin as prescribed in the VN-EAEU FTA Agreement and regulations in force.
The Decree No. 113/2022/ND-CP is coming into force from December 30, 2022 and supersedes the Decree No. 150/2017/ND-CP.
