Prime Minister commands review of average working hours

As stated in the Prime Minister’s Directive No. 16/CT-TTg dated June 14, 2021, regarding guarantee for sustainability, enhancement of living standards and improvement of working condition for workers, the Prime Minister commands the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to perform the following tasks:

- Give counsels on the reduction in average working hours according to socio-economic development situations;

- Concentrate on amending and supplementing the list of arduous, hazardous and dangerous occupations, and extremely arduous, hazardous and dangerous jobs and occupations.

- Continue to study and perfect legislative policies on labor, employment, salary, social insurance, occupational safety and health after conducting review and assessment of actual condition of implementation of laws in the above-mentioned sectors,…

- Grasp labor and employment crises caused by the Covid-19 pandemic to synchronously supplement, adjust and complete mechanisms and policies on labor, employment, wages and social insurance and occupational safety and health.
