According to this document, airlines are requested to comply with the following directions:
- Imperatively changing or refunding tickets (in cash or vouchers with passengers’ consent), even including those bound by restriction conditions (e.g. not allowed to change flight date/time, change flight itineraries and refund purchased tickets) imposed upon:
Passengers have already bought tickets, but fail to fly on air routes that airlines run normally as their residences fall within blocked or isolated areas.
- Requesting airlines to urgently implement the above procedures and documentation requirements for ticket exchange and refund, and promptly disseminate information to passengers via the customer care switchboard systems, websites, offices and ticket agents.
