- As for passenger transport:
+ Limit on indemnity against loss or damage related to passenger's health and life increases from 100,000 units of measure to 128,821 units of measures per each passenger.
+ Limit on indemnity against loss or damage arising from delayed carriage increases from 4,150 units of measure to 5,346 units of measure per each passenger.
- Regarding transport of luggage (including both hand and checked baggage), the limit on indemnity in case of lost, missing or damaged luggage or against loss or damage arising from delayed transport increases from 1,000 units of measure to 1,288 units of measure per each passenger.
- Regarding transport of freight, the limit on indemnity in case of lost, missing or damaged freight or against loss or damage arising from the delayed transport increases from 17 units of measure to 22 units of measure per each kilogram.
Unit of measure is a currency unit defined by the International Monetary Fund and is converted into Vietnamese dong at the official exchange rates quoted by the State Bank of Vietnam at the payment time.
Decree No. 97/2020/ND-CP is taking effect on October 15, 2020.
