According to the Resolution, the Government mandates the Ministry of Public Security to take charge of drafting the document providing instructions for implementation of the Law on Cybersecurity in the period 2019-2025 according to the plan approved by the Prime Minister.
In addition, the Resolution outlines key tasks and solutions to accomplish objectives in the next period, specifically including:
- Drafting and ratifying the Decree on implementation of administrative procedures in the electronic environment and completion of this task by December, 2019;
- Formulating and initiating the National Population Database project, commissioning and officially operating the Database in 2020, continuing to improve and upgrade the Database during the period of 2021 – 2025;
- Formulating and initiating the National Civil Status Database project, commissioning and officially operating the Database in the period of 2018-2020, continuing to improve and upgrade it during the period of 2021 – 2025; etc.
The Resolution No. 17/NQ-CP is set to take effect on March 7, 2019.
