All 3 Circulars on taxation from December 1, 2018 becomes defunct

On October 17, 2018, the Ministry of Finance promulgates the Circular No. 95/2018/TT-BTC repealing certain Circulars in the export and import duty sector.

Pursuant to the Circular, all of 3 following Circulars promulgated by the Minister of Finance will be repealed:

1. Circular No. 35/2010/TT-BTC dated March 12, 2010 providing guidance on the export duty on wood and coke produced from all of imported raw materials;

2. Circular No. 118/2011/TT-BTC dated August 16, 2011 providing guidance on the import duty and value-added tax on imported products used in electricity projects;

3. Circular No. 10/2015/TT-BTC dated January 29, 2015 providing guidance on the Decision No. 54/2014/QD-TTg on import duty exemption for imported components used for manufacturing and assembling medical equipment entitled to research and manufacturing incentives.

The Circular No. 95/2018/TT-BCT will take effect on December 1, 2018.
