Foreign language qualifications for teaching and learning programs awarding foreign diplomas

According to Decree No. 48/2015/NĐ-CP on guidelines for some Articles of the Law on Vocational Education, there are some requirements in terms of foreign language qualifications for teaching and learning association programs that award foreign diplomas, such as:

- Teachers must have foreign qualifications that meet requirements of the program. Nevertheless, they must complete at least level 5 of the 6-level framework of reference for foreign languages (C1) or an equivalent level.

- Students must complete at least level 3 of the 6-level framework of reference for foreign languages (B1) or an equivalent level.

Training institutions may provide training in foreign languages for students until they achieve required level before they are allowed attend the official program.

The Decree comes into force from July 01, 2015.
