According to the Decision, the list of 296 wharves of seaports in Vietnam consists of:
- 14 Quang Ninh wharves in Quang Ninh, 52 wharves in Hai Phong, 16 wharves in Khanh Hoa, 43 wharves in Ho Chi Minh City, 47 wharves in Vung Tau (Ba ria-Vung Tau), 18 wharves in Dong Nai and 21 wharves in Can Tho;
- 8 wharves in Nghi Son (Thanh Hoa) and 8 wharves in Da Nang;
- 7 wharves in Nghe An and 7 wharves in Dung Quat (Quang Ngai);
- 6 wharves in Ha Tinh and 6 wharves in Binh Thuan;
- 4 wharves in Quang Binh and the same in Quy Nhon (Binh Dinh) and Kien Giang;
- 3 wharves in Hai Thinh (Nam Dinh) and the same in Ky Ha (Ha Tinh), Tien Giang (Long An) and Dong Thap;
- 2 wharves in Thai Binh and the same in Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Ca Na (Ninh Thuan), Tien Giang and Tra Vinh;
- 1 wharf in Vung Ro (Phu Yen) and the same in Binh Duong, Ben Tre, Can Tho (Soc Trang), An Giang , Vinh Long and Nam Can (Ca Mau).
Therefore, 10 new wharves are added to 286 existing wharves. To be specific:
- Nosco wharf (Quang Ninh); MPC Port and VIMC Dinh Vu wharf (Hai Phong); Long Son Complex wharf (Nghi Son-Thanh Hoa); Hai Ha-Quang Tri Petroleum wharf (Quang Tri);
- Cai Mep Gemadept-Terminal Link wharf and Cai Mep Complex wharf (Vung Tau); Pacific Petro wharf (Tien Giang-Long An); K34/QK9 Specialized Petroleum Storage wharf (Tra Vinh); Giao Long wharf (Ben Tre).
Decision No. 522/QĐ-BGTVT comes into force from April20, 2022 and replaces Decision No. 508/QĐ-BGTVT of 2021.
