To be specific, some regulations relating to administrative penalties relating to COVID-19 prevention and control are amended as follows:
- Elaborate on failure to adopt personal protective measures in epidemic prevention (Point a Clause 5 Article 2):
Failure of individuals engaged in epidemic prevention and individuals facing risk of infection to adopt personal protective measures in accordance with guidance of medical authority, including: wearing face masks, sanitizing, keeping distance, performing medical declarations, and other measures.
This violation will be met with a fine ranging from VND 1.000.000 to VND 3.000.000.
- A fine ranging from VND 20.000.000 to VND 30.000.000 will be imposed on:
Failure to comply with decision on medical examination, supervision, and handling upon entering and exiting areas under the effect of class A infectious diseases (Point c Clause 5 Article 2)
(Currently, a person is not required to comply with decision on medical examination, supervision, and handling prior to entering and exiting areas under the effect of class A infectious diseases).
- Elaborate on documents announcing state of epidemic emergency (Point d Clause 5 Article 2), to be specific:
Failure to comply with decision on distancing in areas under the state of epidemic emergency according to resolutions, decisions, directives, and other documents of competent authority.
This violation will be met with a fine ranging from VND 30.000.000 to VND 40.000.000.
Decree No. 124/2021/ND-CP will come into force from January 1, 2022.
