The Decree prescribes that initial registration fees for cars, trailers or semi-trailers towed by motor vehicles and the likes which are domestically manufactured or assembled must be subject to the following regulations:
- From December 1, 2021 to end of May 31, 2022, the amounts of registration fees prescribed in the following regulations are decreased by 50%:
Decree No. 20/2019/ND-CP on amendments to Decree No. 140/2016/ND-CP regarding registration fees; Resolutions of People’s Councils or Decisions of provincial People’s Committees regarding local registration fees; documents stating revision, supplementation and replacement of the aforesaid (if any).
- From June 1, 2022 onwards:
Registration fees will be restored to the ones referred to in Decree No. 20/2019/ND-CP on amendments to Decree No. 140/2016/ND-CP regarding registration fees; Resolutions of People’s Councils or Decisions of provincial People’s Committees regarding local registration fees; documents stating revision, supplementation and replacement of the aforesaid (if any).
Decree No. 103/2021/ND-CP is in effect from December 1, 2021 to end of May 31, 2022.
