According to the Decision, there will be 12 types of information and documents treated as Confidential-rated state secrets, specifically including:
- Written documents on planning of radio frequencies for national defense and security purposes; written correspondence between the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Ministry of National Defense and/or the Ministry of Public Security concerning the handling of frequency interference directly assisting in performing national defence and security activities; etc.
- Technical designs, call signs, codes and communicative conventions of the information network systems for private use serving agencies and organizations of the Party and the State; etc.
- Engineering designs of important telecommunications works related to national security.
- Conventions, passwords and encryption keys regarding guarantee for security and safety of computer systems and assurance of safety of emergency response to computer systems on the cyberspace of the Party and State.
- Broadcasting plans in a state of war or emergency declared by the State.
The Decision No. 2238/QD-TTg is entering into force as of the signature date.
