According to this document, the following two types of imported products will be prevented from being sent to bonded warehouses:
- Cigarettes containing tobacco with trademarks, such as 555 or Esse, not of Vietnamese origin, and classified into the HS subheading code 24.02.20
- Whiskies greater than 50ml and not of Vietnamese origin and classified into the HS subheading code 22.08.30.00.
Those entering in bonded warehouses before November 15, 2020 will be subject to regulations regarding the time limits for being kept in bonded warehouses in Article 61 of the 2014 Law on Customs.
After expiry, if they fail to meet clearance requirements, they must be re-exported through the primary entry checkpoint.
Decision No. 27/2020/QD-TTg is entering into force on November 15, 2020.
