This document prescribes that, in order to provide bases for review, assessment and repayment of insured medical costs, provincial social security services may request:
- Healthcare establishments to provide documents on transfer of pathology specimens or patients to other healthcare establishments, including copies of agreements in principle with service providers;
- Uploading of the list of medical services encoded according to clause 4 of Article 3 in Circular No. 09/2019/TT-BYT on the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Information Portal.
If healthcare establishments do not provide agreements in principle or provide ones containing contents inconsistent with those specified in clause 2 of Article 3 in the Circular No. 09/2019/TT-BYT social security services will not have adequate grounds for refunding medical costs incurred from transferred subclinical services.
