Minh Tùng

From February 05, 2014, foreign-invested enterprises in Vietnam are banned from distributing medicines, including finished medicines, medicine ingredients, vaccines, and biologicals, exclusive of functional foods.
Some other important commodities are also banned from distribution by such enterprises such as rice, magazines, gemstones, etc.

Besides, foreign-invested enterprises in Vietnam must not import cigarettes, some kinds of gas and oil, specialist magazines, periodic publications, etc.

The above are some significant regulations stated in Circular No. 34/2013/TT-BCT which supersedes the Decision No. 10/2007/QĐ-BTM

This Circular is applicable to the cases in which the license for investment is not issued, not revised, or not reissued before this Circular takes effect.
