The Circular prescribes amendments to certain Articles of Parts 5, 7 and 10 of the VARs prescribed in Appendices I, II and III issued herewith.
For instance, Article 5.070 Part 5 of Circular No. 01/2011/TT-BGTVT is amended as follows:
- An application for issuance of approved maintenance organization (AMO) must include:
+ An physical copy or electronic form of the written request for extension of the AMO according to form prescribed in Appendix 1 Article 5.033;
+ Physical or electronic copies of documents of understanding (DOU) of the maintenance organization;
+ Physical or electronic copies of reports listing maintenance tasks that have been performed for aircrafts bringing the nationality of Vietnam;
+ Physical or electronic copies of the AMO, documents on operation scope and capacity understanding.
(Previously, originals of the above-mentioned documents are also required)
- Addition to the regulations: results of the request for extension of the AMO shall be returned by person at the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) or by post or via the online public service system at the request of the applicant.
Circular No. 11/2022/TT-BGTVT comes into force from June 29, 2022.
