On December 7, 2021, the Government promulgates the Decree No.
108/2021/ND-CP on adjustments in pensions, social insurance benefits and monthly allowance. According to this Decree, from January 1, 2022, the following beneficiaries are entitled to monthly retirement pensions, social insurance benefits and allowance arising in December 2021 that are adjusted to increase by 7.4%:
- Public officials, civil servants, public employees;
Military servicemen, police and cryptography officers receiving monthly pensions.
- Officers of local authorities at communes, wards or towns stipulated in the Decree No. 92/2009/ND-CP dated October 22, 2009 and the Decree No. 34/2019/ND-CP dated April 24, 2019, etc.
- Persons who are entitled to monthly incapacity benefits; persons who are entitled to monthly allowance under the Decision No. 91/2000/QD-TTg dated August 4, 2000 and the Decision No. 613/QD-TTg dated May 6, 2010, etc.
- Officers of local authorities at communes, wards or towns that are receiving monthly allowance under the Decision No. 130-CP dated June 30, 1975 and the Decision No. 111-HDBT dated October 13, 1981.
- Military members that are receiving monthly allowance under the Decision No. 142/2008/QD-TTg dated October 27, 2008.
- Police that are receiving monthly allowance under the Decision No. 53/2010/QD-TTg dated August 20, 2010.
- Military members, police or cryptography officers that are receiving pensions the same as those paid military members and police that are receiving monthly allowance under the Decision No. 62/2011/QD-TTg dated November 9, 2011.
