According to this Circular, from July 1, 2022, new stamps will be provided for use on cigarette and alcohol products, including:
- Electronic stamps on cigarette products made for domestic markets:
+ Each stamp is 2.2 cm x 4.5 cm in size, made of paper, has watermark pattern design and is 65g/m2 in thickness; has visual marks and contains electronic data and information.
+ It shows the printed text “CIGARETTE E-STAMP” with TTL code and Qrcode; has alphabetic letters used for distinguishing it from other electronic stamps and indicating its printing year.
- Electronic stamps on alcohol products made for domestic markets:
+ Each stamp has visual marks and contains electronic data and information that can be searched on the web portal of the General Department of Taxation.
+ It is classified into two types, each of which is attached to alcohol bottles of 20° and less than 20° volume; both types of label are 11 cm x 1.3cm in size, and have Qrcode, printing years and alphabetic letters used for distinction purposes.
