Below are six types of medical equipment subject to technical safety and functionality inspection requirements:
- Ventilators.
- Anesthesia breathing systems.
- Electric surgical blades.
- Infant incubators.
- Cardioverter defibrillators.
- Hemodialysis machines.
Inspection schedule is regulated as follows:
- As for ventilators, anesthesia breathing systems, electric surgical blades:
+ If they are purchased as from September 1, 2021, their technical safety and functionality must be inspected according to the inspection process.
+ If they are purchased before September 1, 2021, the inspection thereof must be completed by December 31, 2022.
- As for infant incubators, cardioverter defibrillators, hemodialysis machines:
+ If they are purchased as from September 1, 2022, their technical safety and functionality must be inspected according to the inspection process.
+ If they are purchased before September 1, 2022, the inspection thereof must be completed by December 31, 2023.
