According to this document, the Ministry of Education and Training commands local authorities and school districts to fulfill the following requirements:
- Do not use hats or costumes with personal protective face shields in classrooms; it is optional for pupils to wear facemasks in the classroom;
Ask pupils to continue to put facemasks on from home to school, before entering in class, during break time, while in the playground, after leaving the classroom and on the way home;
- Do not enforce the distancing between pupils in the classroom, constrain them from close contact with each other in class and in public areas;
- Allow air-conditioners to be turned on; at end of each in-class session, let fresh air flow in and out classrooms by keeping their doors and windows open.
- Regularly clean and disinfect material surfaces, classrooms, restrooms and carry out prescribed disease prevention and control measures.
