This document provides instructions for the supplementary submission of C/O upon expiration of the submission duration of 30 days as the deadline falls on a day-off or public holiday during the process of completion of customs procedures as follows:
- The deadline for submission of certificates of origin for imports will be subject to provisions laid down in:
+ Point c of clause 1 of Article 7 in the Circular No. 38/2018/TT-BTC dated April 20, 2018 of the Ministry of Finance prescribing determination of origin of imports and exports.
+ Official Dispatch No. 7491/TCHQ-GSQL dated December 20, 2018 and Official Dispatch No. 4943/TCHQ-GSQL dated August 23, 2018.
This means that the submission duration of 30 days from the date of registration of the customs declaration form is determined by using the solar calendar.
- In case the submission deadline falls on a day-off or a public holiday during the period of implementation of customs procedures, customs-declaring enterprises must comply with provisions set forth in clause 1 of Article 4 in the Circular No. 38.
