Additional entry and exit checkpoints are now brought into operation

On February 1, 2019, the Government has promulgated the Decree No. 17/2019/ND-CP amending regulations on grant of electronic visa (e-visa) to foreigners.

The Decree prescribes additional entry and exit checkpoints for foreigners using E-visa upon entry or exit, including:

- Land border checkpoints:

+ Tay Trang International Border Checkpoint in Dien Bien province.

+ Na Meo International Border Checkpoint in Thanh Hoa province.

+ La Lay International Border Checkpoint in Quang Tri province.

- Sea border checkpoints:

+ Duong Dong Border Checkpoint in Kien Giang province.

+ Chan May Border Checkpoint in Thua Thien Hue province.

The Decree No. 17/2019/ND-CP will last for 02 years from the date of its promulgation.
