- Only require the introduction letter of the tobacco product supplier or the trader distributing tobacco product that specifies intended business location and do not require any sales contract with such supplier or individual distributor as prescribed in previous regulations;
- Repeal regulations on conditions for conformity of transport equipment with storage standards during carriage of tobacco products which are prescribed in Point e Clause 2 Article 26 of the Decree No. 67/2013/ND-CP.
The license for trade in tobacco products which were previously granted to traders in accordance with the Decree No. 67/2013/ND-CP will remain valid until the term of this license expires.
The Decree No. 106/2017/ND-CP is set to enter into force from November 1, 2017.
