- The online Official Gazette publications, which are released on the same date as print publications, will be saved in digitally-signed PDF or .DOC files.
- The Government Office and the Office of the People's Committee of a province will reserve all rights to the electronic Official Gazette publications at the national and provincial level respectively.
In addition, the Circular No. 01 provides guidance on the following responsibilities of the Government Office and Office of the provincial-level People’s Committee:
- Ensure contents of the print Official Gazette publications are exactly consistent with those of the written requests for online release of the Official Gazette publications;
- Monitor consistency of the online version with the print copy of the published Official Gazette;
- Annually, the Offices of the People's Committees of provinces are responsible for sending their review reports to the Government Office that will then consolidate these reports to compile a general assessment report on compliance with regulations regarding the Official Gazette.
The Circular No. 01/2017/TT-VPCP is about to take effect from May 15, 2017.
