On February 2, 2023, the Minister of Finance of Vietnam promulgated Circular No.
07/2023/TT-BTC on fees for appraisals of schemes for environmental rehabilitation and restoration, collection, payment, management, and use thereof performed by central agencies.
According to the Circular, fees for appraisals of schemes for environmental rehabilitation and restoration performed by central agencies are calculated based on the total investment capital of projects as follows:
+ If the total investment capital of the project is up to 10 billion VND: the fee is 6 million VND;
+ If the total investment capital of the project is more than 10 - 20 billion VND: the fee is 9 million VND;
+ If the total investment capital of the project is more than 20 - 50 billion VND: the fee is 15 million VND;
+ If the total investment capital of the project is more than 50 - 100 billion VND: the fee is 27 million VND;
+ If the total investment capital of the project is more than 100 - 200 billion VND: the fee is 30 million VND;
+ If the total investment capital of the project is more than 200 - 500 billion VND: the fee is 39 million VND;
+ If the total investment capital of the project is more than 500 - 1000 billion VND: the fee is 44 million VND;
+ If the total investment capital of the project is more than 1000 - 1500 billion VND: the fee is 48 million VND;
+ If the total investment capital of the project is more than 1500 - 2000 billion VND: the fee is 49 million VND;
+ If the total investment capital of the project is more than 2000 - 3000 billion VND: the fee is 51 million VND;
+ If the total investment capital of the project is more than 3000 - 5000 billion VND: the fee is 53 million VND;
+ If the total investment capital of the project is more than 5000 - 7000 billion VND: the fee is 56 million VND;
+ If the total investment capital of the project is more than 7000 billion VND: the fee is 61 million VND;
Previously, according to Circular No. 35/2017/TT-BTC, an appraisal process performed by the same competent agency has a fee ranging from 4 - 40,7 million VND.
Circular No. 07/2023/TT-BTC comes into force as of March 20, 2023 and replaces Circular No. 35/2017/TT-BTC dated April 25, 2017.
