Commodity-carrying vehicles with QR codes to be exempted from Covid-19 inspection as of 0:00, July 30

This is the highlight of the Official Dispatch No. 5187/VPCP-CN dated July 29, 2021, regarding facilitation of transportation of goods during the Covid-19 pandemic period.

According to this document, Ministries, Ministry-level agencies, Governmental bodies, People’s Committees of provinces and centrally-affiliated cities must perform the following duties from 0:00, July 30:

- Health and safety spots on all highways, national highways, provincial roads, inter-district roads and urban streets nationwide are not allowed to stop and check:

Vehicles have QR Code identifier certificate issued by transport regulatory authorities to carry goods for use in construction, production, business, import, export, consumption (except goods prohibited from production and business).

- If any vehicle does not have any QR Code identifier certificate or has the expired one, medical declarations and certificates of negative SARS-COV-2 test results of persons aboard vehicles should be checked.  

- Persons aboard vehicles must strictly comply with 5K regulations and hold certificates of negative SARS-COV-2 test results that remain valid within 72 hours from the date of attestation of test results.
