According to the document, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requests People’s Committees of provinces and centrally-affiliated cities to collaborate in taking the following actions:
- Registering and regularly conducting self-assessments and updating the national COVID-19 safety system with self-assessment results according to the instructions of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism given in the 2020’s Official Dispatch No. 4159/BVHTTDL-TCDL;
Even when their business is temporarily suspended or terminated of business, they must register and put a mark onto the field "Temporarily suspended business" on the system;
- Placing public notices of their QR codes (that are created for each account after successfully signing in the COVID-19 safety system) at reception halls or conspicuous places;
- Strengthening inspection, supervision and strictly sanctioning tourist accommodation establishments that fail to comply with epidemic prevention and control measures; allowing tourist accommodation establishments to receive guests only when they meet COVID-19 safety requirements.
The Official Dispatch No. 1518/BVHTTDL-TCDL is issued on May 11, 2021.
