According to this document, before full costs of COVID-19 tests are approved, the Ministry of Health recommends the estimated costs of COVID-19 test services annexed to the Circular No. 14/2019/TT-BYT dated July 5, 2019 to be applied. Specific costs include:
- Service No. 1735: Real-time PCR test approach for detection of bacteria/viruses/microfungi/parasites: Max. VND 734,000/specimen;
- Service No. 1736: Quick test approach for detection of bacteria/viruses/microfungi/parasites: Max. VND 238,000/specimen.
Ministry of Health requests units and relevant local authorities to apply those prices of testing services and techniques approved by competent authorities to perform collection and payment transactions with service users.
