The Circular prescribes that transportation and traffic safety training for drivers and assistants will be provided, specifically including:
- Trainees: drivers and assistants working aboard.
- Training program adopts the training framework issued by the Ministry of Transport.
- Training schedule:
+ Before participation in transportation service business;
+ Held periodically at the 3 years’ maximum interval between two training sessions.
- Trainers, including:
+ Lecturers in the transportation major from (post)secondary or higher-level education institutions providing land transportation training programs; persons obtaining at least postsecondary diplomas in the transportation major;
+ Persons holding associate or undergraduate degrees in other majors and acquiring at least 3 years’ experience in management and administration of road transportation.
