Social isolation policies continue to be applied to localities with high infection risks

This is the main point of the Notice No. 164/TB-VPCP regarding conclusions pertaining to prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic that the Prime Minister has drawn in the meeting of the Government's Standing Committee.

According to this document, localities with high infection risks will have to sustain social isolation.

Districts with high infection risks, including Me Linh, Thuong Tin (Hanoi city), Dong Van (Ha Giang province), Yen Phong (Bac Ninh province) will be classified as localities with high infection risks.

In addition, all the people are advised to regular wash their hands with hand sanitizers, should form the habit of wearing face masks and practice social separation in public areas, including when using means of public transport;  

They are also dissuaded from going out where not necessary or joining crowd gatherings in public, especially those who are living in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city.

Those who have fever or sickness symptoms should stay home, avoid coming to offices, schools or public areas, and consult with doctors or hospitals to get their advice and instructions. 

The Notice No. 164/TB-VPCP is issued on April 23, 2020.
