This document prescribes designs, contents and characteristics of stickers on domestically manufactured tobacco products as follows:
- Dimension: (2.2 x 4.5) cm.
- Sticker’s symbol containing 02 letters out of 20 capital letters mentioned in the Vietnamese alphabet (A, B, C, D, E, G, H, K, L, M, N, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, X, Y) and printing year; the AA/2019 symbol is the first one and each symbol is put onto 20,000,000 stickers.
- Stickers bearing the same symbol will be continuously numbered from 000000001 to 020000000.
- Each sticker carries a QR code; has symmetrical shapes integrating to produce rectangular or lozenge-shaped image blocks for anti-counterfeit effects (According to the form given in the Decision No. 211/QD-BTC of 2010 and the Decision No. 2979/QD-BTC of 2011).
- Each sticker is made from dedicated paper aqueous-coated by using the intaglio technology, is weighed according to the volume of 65 g/m2 and is composed of colored reflected light fiber.
- Each sticker is printed in 8 color hues; has QR code; data encrypted on each sticker is mobile data used for checking whether it is real or fake by using 2D barcode readers.
- Some information is engraved by using retroreflective ink for anti-counterfeit effect upon the request of the General Department of Taxation.
- Stickers are packed into 5-layer carton boxes containing 500 pieces/pile and 100,000 pieces/box, and having labels containing such information as: Packer’s name and sign numbered from…to…
