The Circular prescribes that conventional animal feeds permitted for free sale in Vietnam must be divided into 04 groups as follows:
- Feeds of botanical origin: Corn, rice, wheat, gluten, soya-bean, oil cake, manioc, seeds, raw food, and ethyl alcohol byproducts produced from grain, sugarcane, tubers and residues.
- Feeds of animal origin: Feeds produced from fish and those produced from terrestrial animals.
- Milk and milk products.
- Oil and fat products: Oils, fats and fish oil.
In addition, single ingredients used for manufacturing of animal feeds permitted for free sale in Vietnam are specified in the classification list annexed to this Circular.
The Circular No. 02/2019/TT-BNNPTNT will enter into force on February 11, 2019 and repeal the Circular No. 26/2012/TT-BNNPTNT dated June 25, 2012.
