According to the Decree, classification of regions for application of minimum pay rates in 63 nationwide cities and provinces will be changed from January 1, 2019 as follows:
- Cat Hai and Kien Thuy districts of Hai Phong city will be changed from Region II to Region I;
- Dau Tieng and Phu Giao districts of Binh Duong province will be changed from Region II to Region I;
- Gia Binh and Luong Tai districts of Bac Ninh province will be changed from Region III to Region II;
- Chau Thanh district of Tien Giang province will be changed from Region III to Region II;
- Tan Phuoc district of Tien Giang province will be changed from Region IV to Region III;
- Sam Son city of Thanh Hoa province will be changed from Region IV to Region III;
- Dong Hoi city of Quang Binh province will be changed from Region III to Region II;
- Ba Don town, Le Thuy, Quang Ninh, Bo Trach and Quang Trach districts of Quang Binh province will be changed from Region IV to Region III.
The Decree No. 157/2018/ND-CP is set to enter into effect from January 1, 2019.
