The Decree provides the following important and typical contents:
- The preferential tariff relative to the list of dutiable goods, HS tariff schedule of goods, absolute tariff rates, mixed tariff and out-of-quota tariff rates will be made available.
- The 0% rate of preferential tariff levied on imported vehicle components classified into the 98.49 heading will become operative from November 16, 2017 to December 31, 2022.
- Used vehicles having the seating capacity of 10 – 15 passengers (including the vehicle driver’s seat) which classified into the 87.02 heading will be taxed at the mixed tariff rates specified in the Appendix III, instead of the absolute tariff rates currently in force.
The Decree No. 115/2017/ND-CP is set to commence on January 1, 2018 from which paragraph 2 Article 4 and Appendices to the Decree No. 122/2016/ND-CP dated September 1, 2016 will be repealed.
