QUYẾT ĐỊNH

VỀ LÃI SUẤT TIỀN GỬI DỰ TRỮ BẮT BUỘC BẰNG ĐỒNG VIỆT NAM ĐỐI VỚI TỔ CHỨC TÍN DỤNG

THỐNG ĐỐC NGÂN HÀNG NHÀ NƯỚC

- Căn cứ Luật Ngân hàng Nhà nước Việt Nam năm 1997; Luật Sửa đổi, bổ sung một số điều của Luật Ngân hàng Nhà nước Việt Nam năm 2003;
- Căn cứ Nghị định số 96/2008/NĐ-CP ngày 26 tháng 8 năm 2008 của Chính phủ quy định chức năng, nhiệm vụ, quyền hạn và cơ cấu tổ chức của Ngân hàng Nhà nước Việt Nam;
- Căn cứ văn bản số 1282/VPCP-KTTH ngày 17 tháng 12 năm 2008 của Văn phòng Chính phủ về việc điều chỉnh lãi suất của Ngân hàng Nhà nước Việt Nam;
- Theo đề nghị của Vụ trưởng Vụ Chính sách tiền tệ,

QUYẾT ĐỊNH

Điều 1. Quy định mức lãi suất tiền gửi dự trữ bắt buộc bằng đồng Việt Nam đối với tổ chức tín dụng là 8,5%/năm.

Điều 2. Quyết định này có hiệu lực thi hành kể từ ngày 22 tháng 12 năm 2008 và thay thế Quyết định số 2950/QĐ-NHNN ngày 03 tháng 12 năm 2008 của Thống đốc Ngân hàng Nhà nước về lãi suất tiền gửi dự trữ bắt buộc bằng đồng Việt Nam đối với tổ chức tín dụng.

Điều 3. Chánh Văn phòng, Vụ trưởng Vụ Chính sách tiền tệ và Thủ trưởng các đơn vị thuộc Ngân hàng Nhà nước Việt Nam, Giám đốc Ngân hàng Nhà nước chi nhánh các tỉnh, thành phố trực thuộc Trung ương; Hội đồng quản trị và Tổng giám đốc (Giám đốc) tổ chức tín dụng chịu trách nhiệm thi hành Quyết định này./.

DECISION

ON THE INTEREST RATE APPLICABLE TO REQUIRED RESERVE DEPOSIT IN VIETNAM DONG OF CREDIT INSTITUTIONS

THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK

- Pursuant to the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam in 1997; the Law on the amendment, supplement of several Articles of the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam in 2003;
- Pursuant to the Decree No. 96/2008/ND-CP dated 26 August 2008 of the Government, providing for functions, duties, authorities and organizational structure of the State Bank of Vietnam;
- Pursuant to the Official Dispatch No. 1282/VPCP-KTTH dated 17 December 2008 of the Government's Office on the adjustment of interest rates of the State Bank;
- Upon the proposal of the Director of the Monetary Policy Department,

DECIDES:

Article 1. To provide for the interest rate applicable to required reserve deposit in Vietnam Dong of credit institutions to be of 8.5% per annum.

Article 2. This Decision shall be effective from 22 December 2008 and replace the Decision No. 2950/QD-NHNN dated 03 December 2008 of the Governor of the State Bank on the interest rate applicable to required reserve deposit in Vietnam Dong of credit institutions.

Article 3. The Director of the Administrative Department, the Director of the Monetary and Policy Department and Heads of units of the State Bank of Vietnam, General Managers of the State Bank branches in provinces, cities under the central Government's management, Board of Directors and General Directors (Directors) of credit institutions shall be responsible for the implementation of this Decision.
