CIRCULAR
Prescribing IMPORT TARIFF-rate QUOTAs for salt
and POULTRY EGGS in 2023
Pursuant to the Law on Foreign Trade Management
in 2017;
Pursuant to Decree No. 96/2022/ND-CP dated
November 29, 2022 of the Government on functions, tasks, powers, and
organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade;
Pursuant to Decree No. 69/2018/ND-CP dated May
15, 2018 of the Government elaborating on certain Articles of the Law on
Foreign Trade Management;
At the request of the Director of the Agency of
Foreign Trade;
The Minister of Industry and Trade hereby
promulgates a Circular prescribing import tariff-rate quotas for salt and
poultry eggs in 2023.

Article 2. Methods for administration of import
tariff-rate quotas for salt and poultry eggs in 2023
Import tariff-rate quotas for salt and poultry eggs
in 2023 shall be allocated in accordance with Decree No. 69/2018/ND-CP dated
May 15, 2018 of the Government on guidelines for the Law on Foreign Trade
Management and Circular No. 12/2018/TT-BCT dated June 15, 2018 of the Ministry
of Industry and Trade elaborating certain Articles of the Law on Foreign Trade
Management and Government’s Decree No. 69/2018/ND-CP dated May 15, 2018 on
guidelines for the Law on Foreign Trade Management.
Article 3. Entities engaging in the allocation
of import tariff-rate quotas for salt and poultry eggs in 2023
1. The import tariff-rate quota for salt shall be
allocated to traders who use salt directly as materials for production of
drugs, medical products and chemicals.
2. The import tariff-rate quota for poultry eggs
shall be allocated to traders wishing to import them.
Article 4. Time of allocation of import
tariff-rate quotas for salt and poultry eggs in 2023
The Ministry of Industry and Trade shall discuss
the determination of time of allocation of import tariff-rate quotas for salt
and poultry eggs with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the
Ministry of Finance.
