CIRCULAR
PROMULGATING LISTS OF APPROVED AND PROHIBITED PLANT
PROTECTION CHEMICALS IN VIETNAM
Pursuant to Decree No.
105/2022/ND-CP dated December 22, 2022 of the Government of Vietnam on
functions, tasks, entitlements, and organizational structure of the Ministry of
Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam;
Pursuant to the Law on Plant
Protection and Quarantine No. 41/2013/QH13 dated November 25, 2013;
At the request of the
Director of the Plant Protection Department;
The Minister of Agriculture
and Rural Development of Vietnam hereby promulgates a Circular promulgating
lists of approved and prohibited plant protection chemicals in Vietnam.
Article 1.
The following Lists are enclosed with this Circular

3. HS codes of approved and
prohibited plant protection chemicals in Vietnam shall comply with Section 22
and Section 23 of Appendix I enclosed with Circular No. 01/2024/TT-BNNPTNT
dated February 02, 2024 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development
promulgating HS codes of commodities under management of the Ministry of
Agriculture and Rural Development and list of imports and exports subject to
specialized inspection in the field of agriculture and rural development.
Article 2.
Effect
1. This Circular takes effect
from January 30, 2025.
2. Circular No.
09/2023/TT-BNNPTNT dated October 24, 2023 of the Ministry of Agriculture and
Rural Development promulgating lists of approved and prohibited plant
protection chemicals in Vietnam shall expire as of the effective date of this
Circular.

2. Difficulties that arise
during the implementation of this Circular shall be promptly reported to the
Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam (via the Plant
Protection Department) for consideration and settlement./.
