According to this Circular, some new conditions for opening an undergraduate major include:
- Regarding lecturers:
+ There are enough lecturers for the major (according to regulations in point a clause 2 Article 3 of Circular No. 02/2022/TT-BGDĐT) for the first 02 years of the academic discipline;
+ There are at least 02 lecturers with appropriate expertise assigned to undertake each module of the program; ensure the student-lecturer ratio according to regulations;
+ There is a plan for development of lecturers for the next academic years of the whole course;
- Regarding material facilities:
+ There are adequate material facilities for the first 02 years of the program;
+ There is a plan for investing in material facilities, teaching and learning equipment for the next academic years of the whole course;
+ For Health, Law and Pedagogy, there must be adequate material facilities according to regulations when submitting the application for opening the academic major.
Circular No. 02/2022/TT-BGDĐT comes into force from March 04, 2022 and replaces Circular No. 22/2017/TT-BGDĐT dated September 06, 2017 and Circular No. 09/2017/TT-BGDĐT dated April 04, 2017.
