According to the Decision, the group of basic information on health care of the national database on insurance includes:
- Additional administrative information;
- Information on medical history;
- Information on medical examination and treatment (for each medical examination and treatment).
The additional administrative information is the group of information on basic health care outside of administrative information on basic personal data as prescribed in Point a Clause 1 Article 6 of Decree No. 43/2021/ND-CP.
According to Decree No. 43/2021/ND-CP the national database on insurance is the national database that stores information on social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, and information on health care and social security recognized by competent authorities and ensures the insurance benefits and obligations of the people.
The national database on insurance is the database of the Government of Vietnam uniformly developed nationwide and generally used for agencies, organizations, and individuals to accurately and promptly provide information on insurance serving state management and satisfying the requirement for socio-economic development and legitimate requirements of agencies, organizations, and individuals.
