In particular, in addition to cases of warnings to vehicles committing administrative offences against which the limitation periods for execution of sanctions as stated in Article 80 of the Decree No. 100/2019/ND-CP regulations on three more cases are imposed as follows:
- Motor vehicles are tested to be affected by certain defective and damaged items:
+ Vehicle registration units print the Notices of defective or damaged items by using the available samples and issue them to vehicle owners to have them repaired.
+ In case where pre-registration testing results are unsatisfactory and vehicle registration certificates are not granted, tested vehicles will receive warnings about these unsatisfactory results on the Vietnam Register’s website.
- Liquidated motor vehicles whose information is not available in the vehicle production, import or registration database are presented for tests in which their documentation is examined before being found inconsistent with their present condition.
- As for motor vehicles of organizations permitted for temporary import or re-export, after keeping record of tested vehicles, vehicle registration units will send their information to the Vietnam Register to use them as a basis to give warnings on the Registration Management Program.
