Several animal health fees and charges are reduced due to Covid-19

On August 6, 2021, the Minister of Finance issues the Circular No. 68/2021/TT-BTC on collection rates of several animal health fees and charges in order to provide subsidy and relief for people affected by Covid-19.

According to this document, collection rates of several animal health fees and charges are reduced by 50% compared to those referred to in the Circular No. 101/2020/TT-BTC dated November 23, 2020 as follows:

- Fees for issuance of sanitary and phytosanitary certificates for animals and terrestrial animal products; fishery products imported, in transit or temporarily imported for export (including those stored in bonded warehouses) and moved to other border checkpoints:

+ From August 6, 2021 to end of December 31, 2021: VND 20,000/each;

+ From January 1, 2022: VND 40,000/each.

- Charges for issuance of certificates of practicing in animal health services:

+ From August 6, 2021 to end of December 31, 2021: VND 25,000/each;

+ From January 1, 2022: VND 50,000/each.

- Animal quarantine fees for poultry diagnostic tests:

+ From August 6, 2021 to end of December 31, 2021: VND 17,500/each automobile or special-purpose vehicle.

+ From January 1, 2022: VND 35,000/each automobile or special-purpose vehicle.

Circular No. 68/2021/TT-BCT is in effect from August 6, 2021 to end of December 31, 2021.
