According to this document, beneficiaries of the 3rd reduction in electricity prices or bills include:
- Electricity retail prices applicable to business activities will be reduced to equal those applicable to manufacturing activities prescribed under Decision No. 648/QD-BCT dated March 20, 2019. This support will be applicable to tourist accommodation service providers prescribed in the Law on Tourism and other relevant legislative instruments.
- Reduction in (before-tax) electricity bills directly granted to establishments providing free-of-charge COVID-19 prevention and control services that purchase electricity from EVN/EVN-controlled units and electricity retailers.
The reduction rates are regulated as follows:
+ 100% reduction in electricity bills granted to facilities used for providing concentrated quarantine and medical services for patients with suspected or confirmed COVID-19.
+ 20% reduction in electricity bills granted to health facilities used for providing medical examination or testing services for patients with suspected or confirmed COVID-19.
No reduction in electricity bills will be granted to establishments providing COVID-19 prevention and control services that charge for their concentrated health quarantine services according to directions given in the Government’s Resolution No. 16/NQ-CP dated February 8, 2021.
The duration of support package in the form of reduction in electricity prices and bills for electricity users prescribed above will be 07 months starting from June 2021 and ending on December 2021.
