According to this Decision, in the course of a remote specialist consultation, the following measures must be applied to prevent the sharing of a patient’s personal information:
- Prohibiting the live streaming of remote specialist consultations via social media or other forms of communication that may reveal personal information or facial images and medical condition of patients and those participating in remote specialist consultations.
- Prohibiting the sharing of a patient’s personal information, including:
Full name, address, facial or body image or any identifiable information of a patient by any form (e.g. photo, document, sound recording, etc.).
- In case a specialist consultation needs a patient’s presence, the techniques of blurring or veiling out the patient’s face must be used.
