By this document, the Ministry of Health advises the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, and People’s Committees of provinces and cities to take the following regulatory actions:
- If Vietnamese people wishing to go abroad to work apply for Certificates of non-positive for SARS-CoV-2, organizations and entities sending Vietnamese workers abroad must compile the detailed list of applicants, then proactively contacting test laboratories or facilities licensed to conduct confirmatory tests by the Ministry of Health for their further review and guidance on how to do the test in accordance with regulations in force.
- Testing laboratories and facilities conduct the test and grant Certificates of non-positive for SARS-CoV-2 to requesting individuals and organizations;
Upon receipt of positive test results, actions like medical quarantine or isolation, patient surveillance and reporting of the positive cases to competent authorities must be promptly taken as a basis for implementation of further disease control measures prescribed by law.
